Does anyone know how we go about buying ETFs. I normally trade using HSC online trading but I understand they don't do ETFs. Do we need to have a broker to buy ETFs. Has anyone had any experience investing in ETFs? Positive or bad experience?

ETFs are traded like normal stocks on the HK Exchange. Any online bank or broker will let you trade this, including HSBC

There are plenty of ETFs investing in China shares, including A shares. There was a new gold ETF launched by Value Partners a few months ago which was quite popular. Anyway, they are easy to buy and the fees are relatively less than the other funds.
