How much is it to hire an interior decorator?

I recently just got a flat and as a lot of flats in Hong kong are small, space and storage is quite tricky. I don't need fancy schmancy interior decorating, I just want a professional handling of how I can make my flat look spacier and at the same time have enough storage area for all my stuff. Basically, I just want someone to arrange my furniture for me.


How much do you think an interior decorator will cost me and where do I go?

There's a couple of guys I have seen on TV - I think they are Scottish, and one of them wears lots of flowers. You could try emailing Now TV and ask for their contact details.

real design is about 50-200HKD/sqf depending on quality. a high end architect costs much more of course.


apart from that you have a whole bunch of not very capable 'designers' that are essentially contractors. they will always say that the design is 'free'...
