Would greatly appreciate reviews (good or bad) of Aura Agency for hiring of terminated domestic helper. I plan to go there tomorrow morning to pay HK3,200 for processing of a new helper, but want to know if they are reputable. I also posted under DH forum but no specific comments on the agency. Know there are good and bad ones out there. The Helper I plan to hire is engaged with Aura. Tks!!!

Why not use Evelyn in the AsiaXPAT office - her fee to you is MUCH lower... and she charges the helpers nothing... http://hongkong.asiaxpat.com/helpers/

Thanks Ed, but I specifically need processing for hiring a DH who has been terminated. The information on Evelyn's services do not list that. I tried calling, but there is no answer. I don't need help finding a DH, I need help with processing because she has been terminated and it's more complicated than hiring one who has completed a contract.


I'm open to other agency suggestions too!! Thanks.

I spoke to someone at Evelyn's office and in fact they do NOT handle processing for terminated helpers. They suggested Aura, so I got another recommendation for Aura, and we went with them today. Fingers crossed all will be in good order. Thanks for the feedback. Hoping this case is closed :)
