Hi everyone, my little 3 year old's birthday is coming up and I am thinking of ordering some cupcakes as I have seen some friends do as opposed to a birthday cake. Have not thought of theme yet but does anyone know a place other than Complete Deelite or Babycakes that sells cupcakes? I just need some basic nice tasting cupcakes nothing fancy for a bunch of 3 year olds !

For basic cupcakes, why not try baking them at home? You could also try Cake-a- licious at Lyndhurst terrace, near Candle Company. You can order them plain

Friend of mine also does wonderful cakes and cupcakes at very reasonable prices. Her facebook page is Cakeworks-hand sculpted cakes.

Thank you to everyone who responded. I did check out some of the shops above but I eventually bought the cupcakes off the cousin of a friend, this lady who does baking as a hobby. She made two dozen for me and her prices were acceptable. I thought the chocolate ones tasted better than vanilla, but that's my view.. My three year old daughter loved them as she made a princess theme, all pink tiaras and fluffy icing and it was a hit with all the kids and parents! let me know if you want details. Cheers
