I have recently tried to sell my car and was approached by a buyer who asked me to use pay pal and transfer money for 'shipping costs' via Western Union. This is a complete scam! A very convincing scam. Separate seemingly independent e-mails are sent from Pay.Pal that look very authentic. Pay Pal has nothing to do with these. Don,t be fooled. I still have the car but have paid money thinking it was legit because it looked like the communication was from Pay.Pal - used their logos, had disclaimers, had official e-mail addresses.
