I need some feedback on these schools. My daughter will be 4 yrs old soon and we want to send her to the international section. She's half chinese & british. Of course mandarin is priority. Since she's very expressive & creative & independant, I have concerns sending her to the local side. I heard good comments on both schools. She's been accepted at Kiangsu. No idea which one....your comments appreciated.

I find the mandarin levels in KCIS is equivalent to the levels of local schools. It's very demanding. I can't imagine my kids EVER go to the local section of KCS.

I think going to KCS is ok until P1. Then it's important for the kids to get good english foundation as well. Mandarin, expect to have someone at home with chinese ability to help with homework on a daily basis. Also, expect to hire a tutor at least once or twice or week to keep the Mandarin levels if you want her to be fluent in it. Can't depend entirely on the school, no matter what school you send your kid to, unless you speak Mandarin as primary language at home.

If you go into KCS, there is no guarantee admission into KCIS later though.
