Pest Control - advice please

We recently arrived in HK and moved into our apartment two weeks ago. We have already seen 5 small (what appears to be) roaches in kitchen and bathroom despite having sprayed biokill after spotting the first one. I have a completely illogical fear of roaches and it is driving me absolutely insane. We have now arranged a pest conrol company to come for treatment next week. However, we have a 14 month old child and even though we're reassured they will use safe chemical for children, having never had the experience of pest control, I am still concerned about our child. Could anyone advice? Also, I have heard that you will see dead roaches throughout the flat after a treatment. Could anyone advice how bad the aftermath of pest control is and whether dead roaches will only appear on the day of treatment or they will continue to appear for a few days. It is probably laughable but I am scared even of dead ones and also am fearful that our child will find them before I do... Thank you so much for all your advice in advance.
