has anyone used a small pizza oven in hongkong?


what is the correct temp and power to make pizza in these ovens

you mean a real pizza oven or normal oven? i bake my pizzas in a small oven (from Japan home centre!) for 250 degrees, for 25 minutes. You may put it at a lower temp (200 degrees) if you have a big powerful oven. Just test it with 250 degree first and see how fast your dough changes colour, then you will know!

a little tip: you should first bake the dough for 5 minutes, then take it out and add your sauce/cheese/toppings before you bake again for another 20 minutes. This is to prevent the pizza become soggy! cute co-incidence- I JUST blogged about pizza 2 days ago :) www.facebook.com/hkcooking

You can also get a stone base for putting the pizza on when baking in the oven to get the bottom nice and crispy. I got mine in Wing On

it has a square tray i am not sure if u can get a square pizza stone.
