I have looked around and what I found are the very old romantic English songs in all the DVD shops. Any recommendations for popular karaoke songs in the western world?

I have bought lots from Amazon.co.uk, most ship to HK,

Also if you ever visit Malaysia, or one of their island places like Kota Kinabalu there are loads to choose from in the record departments of shopping malls.

In Hk the best places are HMV stores, although the selction is not vast.
