I trekked through nepal ten yrs ago and from my recollection bottled water was readily available on all the stops... we never used any tablets...


Perhaps you can ask a doctor where to buy pills?

Thanks, Ed! They've asked me to phone the Adventist, and they've never heard of them - then somone mentioned Mothercare, so called them - they're out, as too are Bumps to Babes!

Some outdoor stores also carry them, but they are rare in Hong Kong coz people have easy access to potable water here. Little bit more common are portable outdoor water purifiers.
