Forming an AsiaXPAT Think Tank

We're bouncing around the idea of creating a club for our members to meet regularly to have discussions on politics, economics, books, etc... Perhaps we could invite in some guest speakers...


Ideally we'd team up with someone already doing something similar - or who might be interested in jointly operating something like this...


Checked with the FCC but that's not feasible as their facility cannot be used for public events...


Appreciate any advice or thoughts on moving this forward.

Trying to play the devil. How will your club be different from the hundreds of similar clubs in HK? There are book clubs, cooking clubs, quiz clubs etc. What will be USP of urs? Why would people want to attend urs? You need to think about all this...

if you deliver good speakers, i could line something up with a brilliant venue in central for free. on a once a month basis max though
