Hi looking for a garden centre for some largish outdoor plants for our blacony. I live near Stanley and went to the nursery outside the Aberdeen tunnel but the prices they quoted are crazy. Appreciate any tips

In Hong Kong, you will find the most garden centers in the New Territories and of course their prices are going to be much more sensible than the ones on HK Island.
You can also prospect in Mongkok district on the Flower Market, lots of shops there with reasonable prices.
Finally, you can also buy plants in Ikea, Causeway Bay, in some Taste supermarkets, the old name was Park'n Shop and in Wanchai Market you will find also shops selling plants.

KK horticulture in Sai Kung is tops. Worth the drive. Friend of mine who lives in Stanley shops for garden stuff out here.

We've bought lots of plants over the years for our roof, large and small, from P & F Gardens, Victoria Road, Pokfulam. Always found their prices to be very reasonable. And they're also very helpful.

If you want to look closer to Stanley, there are a couple of garden centres at the bottom of Deep Water Bay Rd. Park in the circle at the bottom, walk past the barrier and the Crown wine cellars and continue to the bottom of that hill. I think there are 2 places. Reasonable prices for bougainvillea etc.
Also, Gresson St in Wanchai - just off Queen's Rd East, at the end near Caffe Habitu etc - has a few good options.
