Why not get a second or third quote and see if it is reasonable. If they are all around the same price, then yes it is reasonable.

Thanks very much to everyone for their responses. I'll get some other quotes as well. Even though cost is an issue I'm a single mum with health issues (hence the move) moving whole life, child, dog etc. and I just don't have the time or resources to to do do it all myself, I need a removalist to do it. The first quote is from Colombia, can anyone recommend other movers that might be able to offer a better quote as am too pushed for time to meet with removalists which are going to be too expensive.

I'm still sizing them up and have three quotes to hand; the first was about right according to the messages posted on here. I have another quote which is ten thousand cheaper and I think can rely on them. The last quote is FTC with Relocations and is 10,000 cheaper than the middle quote. Has anyone heard of FTC and came give me some feedback as I haven't heard anything and I want to make an informed decision and. Would really welcome some comments or advice. Have a good week all!

Hi Ann, when we moved to Melbourne in 2010 we used Uni Group and was very happy with their service. They quoted the best price amongst all the rest. I think I got around 4 quotes. When we moved back here to HK and did a local move I also got a quote from FTC. We were suppose to use them but they were booked that day. My friend who use them said they are good for local moves so can't vouch for their international moving service. Good luck with the move!
