Summer activities for 3 year old

Hi

Does anyone know of any summer camps, activities or programs for a very active boy who is nearly 3. I know of Woodlands but was hoping for something more sporty (less school like). Have seen ESF and Cricket club but they don't appear to have anything for 3 years old. Have 2 older boys who will be doing sailing and surfing but need something for my little one.

Thanks in advance

ESF do have summer sports camps for 3-4 year olds in three locations. Check the website under Sports Camps and Clinics www.esf.org.hk.

Here's a list of a few "after-school" organisations, many of which also run summer camps.

BTW I would note that the Woodland Summer Camps are much more "casual" compared to the normal term classes. Much more "fun focused" if you will.

Wow - whatever happened to parents entertaining their own kids?

Tommyknocker, as a parent I'm all for entertaining my own kids. However it can be great fun for them to be in activities for parts of the day. Doesn't mean I abandon them exactly...

Thanks so much everyone. Some great ideas here - wish I knew about some of these last year! Now to start trying to organize 3 different schedules (like a military operation).

Yes - certainly a shame we can't entertain our own 3 children at home. A bit difficult in a 1400sqft apartment. I for one would much rather my 3 very active boys get out and get some exercise while making new friends than stuck at home in a tiny apartment with no facilities - would be a hard job to get them off computers and WII games. Unfortunately the days of my childhood are long gone. My mom used to send us out with a packed lunch at 8am and tell us not to come home until dinner time!!!

At least if they can do a few sports activities over the very LONG 8 week summer holiday, they come home happy to have some quite time with parents and not kill each other.

Maybe Tommyknocker has a few ideas on how to entertain teens and young ones at home in HK for 9 weeks? There is only so many hours of playdough one can handle I'm afraid.

Thanks again everyone for your great ideas!
