other uses for sour cream

I bought sour cream as a dip for my chips. are there any other uses for sour cream i heard you can use it for soups and deserts. Can you share some recipes? thanks very much

Baked Potato Salad


4 large potatoes, baked and cooled

1/2 cup sour cream

2 Tbsp mayonnaise

1/2 cup chives, chopped

1/2 cup cooked bacon, chopped

salt and pepper to taste


1) Peel baked potatoes and cut into chunks.

2) Combine all ingredients and refrigerate.

3) Serve.
