Hikkaduwa town that is around an hour’s drive from Bentota is a wonderful coastal resort. Its beaches are beautiful and well developed with many nightclubs, water sports centers, and shopping areas and hence it is worth a visit. Although the sea is bit rougher in August but it tends to be a dry month and a good time to visit.

Thank you. I will go yala national park for the leopard safari for 2 days then another 2 to 3 days yet to decide where to go, as for the beaches area, I decided to go Maldives in this trip as well ! Really looking forward ! Going Maldives alone sound a bit weird ... It's a honeymoon place lol
