Hi all,


Will be traveling to US and Canada for 3 weeks. To save mobile roaming cost, what is the most effective method?


Here is what I thought:


1. Get a HK cheap roaming card and forward my number to this cheaper card


2. Register skype and get a HK number. Forward the HK number. But then I will need to get a 3G/internet card in US.


How much is a phone card with internet capability in US? are they pay as you go?

Hi ,

When would you travel? As I know there is a telecom call Truphone, they provide a very cheap roaming rate with1 SIM with loca US, UK & AUS number and local rate.
