Where do you get your local news from?

I watched a dead body get fished out of Victoria Harbour on Saturday. Pretty big news, I would have thought. On Sunday I checked the SCMP, Google News, The Standard etc for the story. Nothing....

There seems to be many instances where I hear about things that happen in Hong Kong through someone rather than through the media.

I am interested in how people find out local news?

I used to read the Standard website but it keps crashing Firefox so I stopped. The SCMP is ok but the website is for pay so no thanks.

Google News gives the essentials. https://encrypted.google.com/search?hl=en&biw=1290&bih=921&tbm=nws&q=hong+kong&aq=f&aqi=g10&aql=&oq=

RTHK Radio 3 should have had something on that though they were probably covering the June 4th candlight vigil. Having said that, corpses are always being dragged out so not as news-worthy as you may think though definitely worth covering.

axpt> if you google a story keyword PLUS "SCMP", you'll usually get the full story behind the paywall...
