Hi,
Will be relocating to HK. Since its my 1st relocation. I want to know what are the most important things that I need to do once I reach. Eg, sourcing for apartment and opening a bank account.
Thanks in advance.

you should negotiate (if possible) to be put up in a serviced apt. for at least 1 month to get your permanent accoms sorted...that will prob. be your biggest expense while your here, so take your time to find something you like...if your in a large company, HR should be able to steer you to a property agent who can help you out...
opening a bank account is not too difficult...any of the large banks can help you out, and all major atms will most likely take your card for withdrawals from your home account in the mean time...I would go into the head branch (prob in central) for the best English language service
really, HK is a very easy place to get situated...

Where are you moving from? There are certain things that are cheaper to ship if you are from NY
