US to HK Household Movers

I am moving from the US to HK, and looking for any recommendations on movers. Thank you for any recommendations!

He's asking for movers people have hired to move from USA to HK.


There are shisters out there. It's not uncommon for bad companies to give you one price and hold your entire content (container?) to ransom for another price.


Or quoting you a price including clearing customs, door-door svs etc ONLY to find that they HK agent has never received payment from them. Then, your items stay in HK and they charge you for storage. this has happened to my friend.


The HK agent was found to be honest (they were able to prove all the communication and docuements between them and the USA mover), and learned that this happens all the time.


They konw that they could get away with it because the client is now relocated to a city in Asia.


Do not pay for the HK end. Easy enough, and perhaps cheaper if you separete the HK end from the first invoice.
