Need advice on moving to Macau

Hi,

I am considering moving to Macau for work but have some concerns. I would love any advice anyone has. I have a little boy 2yrs old, so my priority really is him, are there any good international pre-schools/kindergardens, and what about paedatricians and hospitals, are they any good? I have heard some stories about the hospitals, is it really that bad?

We are planning to go over there to check out flats/shopping to see if living over there is suitable for us and our son. Does anyone know the price to rent flats over there, something around 1000 square ft. or if anyone knows of any reputable agents, that would be much appreciated.

Any other information would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

I lived there a few years back, I wouold say considerate carefully, totally different lifestyle to HK. yes to international Schools,pre-school, hospital etc are all avaiible and ok.

Taipa would be the best place for you, Intl school is over there, near the Airport, behind Universty Hospital. Rental, I was paying 8.5K for 3brm, 2bth, 1200 sqft.

I still think the best part of Macau is the heliport (on the way out), a quick getaway.

Good luck.
