Hi,


I am moving to HK for a year with work and they have suggested I can stay in a serviced apartment in either High Street or Macdonnell Road.


Would anyone care to comment on the pro's and con's of each area?

Macdonnell Rd is the best part of mid levels. Close to the expat restaurants and bars. Close to HK Park, Zoological Gardens and not congested. Much better views than other parts of mid-levels. Close to jogging path on Bowen. Walk to work in Central. Grocery store just at the start of the street. PRC embassy at the other end - as safe as can be as there is always a police presence. Lots of taxis, convenient bus to Admiralty.
