Anniversary coming soon - was going to buy her a Berkin. Cannot get one anywhere (tired HK, NYC, etc). Was told that you can't even get on the waiting list. Hermes in PP was very unhelpful.
Any ideas??

Why don't you try the Milan Station shops around town. I know the one in Lan Kwai Fong has them there. Of course they're more expensive than in Hermes because there's no waiting time. Oh, and the bag is called Birkin and depending on the type of leather you select, it costs lots and lots of money.

Be careful where you buy your Birkin if you purchase it elsewhere.
There are many fakes that look like the real thing.
At some of the stores they mix the real stuff with the fake.
Hence, the huge profit to pay the very expensive rent in HK.
try to find someone who actually has a real one and bring it to the store and compare.

heard that the Hermes shop in Singapore Airport terminal 3 sells off the shelf a limited collection. I haven't checked it myself. you may give them a call to findout.
Milan station has birkin bags usually soon after christmas or velentines day (unwanted presents I suppose).
