There is no place like home...but where is home?

I am going home! I am going back to California. I am going to once again feel the soft sand beneath my toes at Crystal Cove, to be able to smell the salty ocean air, and have a soft breeze enter my window, I will get to see the mountains that I so love, and the unexplored ancient oceans that we call the desert of Palm Springs; it’s an ancient ocean and if you are brave enough to adventure into the heat… you can find amazing ocean fossils (Something I have yet to do). I get to go home! And I can’t wait!

I also feel like I am going to have reverse culture shock. As much as I hate the air here in Shanghai (and I truly do hate it because I am vain and know it wrecks havoc on my skin), and not being able to see any constellations, or people separating their trash (but instead throwing it in the street because someone will pick it up), or conserving on the earths resources…I love it here! I love what I’ve learned, I only wish I could cross the west with the east…

Wow, that's really a great experience at least you learned a lot. I'm sure that you miss so much your lifestyle in California. Like you, I had also a travel in Shanghai and I always assure that while I am having a tour, I also get in touch with my family in States. I used the international calling service of Voxcall. That was really great. You must also try that so you can have a better trip abroad. http://www.voxcall.com/

Travelling to Armenia. Where to stay?

Are you a backpacker or enjoy hiking and did you wonder where you could spend an unforgettable vacation that wouldn’t break your bank but at the same time would be highly enjoyable? The answer to that question is more than simple: Travel to Armenia and pick one of the cheapest hostels in Yerevan: Penthouse Hostel.

Everyone knows that travelling also implies sightseeing, visiting various tourist attractions, cultural destinations and what not.

Dropping by Penthouse Hostel in Yerevan, you won’t miss out anything important in terms of culture, history, etc. All that because of the fact that the hostel is in the heart of Yerevan and therefore, it’s ridiculously close to a bunch of museums, bus stations, subway and cultural buildings of Armenia.

On the whole, Penthouse Hostel became the second home for backpackers in Yerevan. You are also welcome to become one of them. Just visit our website for more information: www.penthousehostel.org

So what are your favorite budget accommodations in different countries? Have you made your choice of hostels where you would definitely go back to in case you had a chance? And finally, what hostels would you recommend to those travelling to European countries?

Waiting for your ideas and suggestions!!
