There are probably quite a few of us on our home PCs this time so maybe there's someone out there who's already found out the answer to my question and can update me... Do we still need to open new sole-name bank accounts or has the Government had a re-think and will make it easier for the many PRs with joint accounts to get this rebate? And if we all have to open new accounts, can anyone suggest user-friendly banks for this purpose?

I picked up the forms from HSBC yesterday to fill in and they still say it must be a sole-name account
