Hello,

I'm looking for a Chinese-style silk table set (such as a table runner and placemats) as a wedding gift for an Italian friend of mine. I need it to be good quality (being a wedding gift and all), so the polyester sets from souvenir shops and similar are out. My budget is around 300 HKD, 500 HKD max.

I've only been in Hong Kong for a short time, so I really don't know where to look! Any advice will be much appreciated. Thanks!

You could try buying from 'Chinese arts and crafts' ,they have couple of shops in HK. One is in Central, right opposite H&M, there is one in Pacific Place, top floor another one in Wanchai, Harbour Road.

If you are not hellbent on table set, you could try Shanghai Tang, they have some beautiful stuff too..
