Is your employee a Foreign Domestic Helper? If they are, you have to give them one months notice, and also a one way flights home- door to door costs, plus 100hkd per day for travel, they should be paid any outstanding wages up to their last day of work plus any holiday pay due, which in your case would be 3 and a half days, as they are allowed 7 days holiday per year. Make Him/her sign for any moneys and air tickets you hand over, and keep this in a safe place, preferably with a witness present. They are allowed to stay in Hk for 2 weeks after they finish working for you, so they may find work with someone else, then they must leave Hk. You must inform Immigration within 7 days of them leaving your employment, giving them the contract number, and the FDH"s name, and a reason for leaving.
