we are looking for a kid friendly hotel or short term serviced apartments while we move into our apartment in midlevels. Any suggestions of any on hong kong side that are better for kids? ages 2 5 8 years. Walking to park or malls that have kids activities?

I assume you are new to HKG? Hotel rooms are very small, usually. I think a serviced apartment would be a better bet if your budget stretches that far. Otherwise, I would think about waiting it out somewhere else, like Bangkok, not too far away, much better value for money, much bigger rooms.

I agree with woods99 that hotel rooms are small. My friends stayed at Park View serviced appartments. It was great for them as there was playroom, indoor & outdoor pools and also a shuttle bus to Central but I heared that the rents are high.
