Fauna of Hong Kong-anything unusual?

I lived in Hong Kong from 1966-1985 and I am now reseraching for a book to be called `The Mystery Animals of Hong Kong`. In fact I`ve collected a huge amount of material for about 15 years but I am still turning up "new" information,at least new to me. If any current Hong Kong ex-pat or former Hong Kong resident could let me know, via this Forum, any unusual stories, experiences, rumours or anecdotes, going as far back in time as can be remembered, I would be very grateful. No matter how improbable.I am particularly interested in fauna not usually thought to belong to Hong Kong.Thank you.

Thank you for your enquiry. We know of no specific anecdotes on this, BUT I do know that there is a book on the flora and fauna of HK, I do not know the name, or author, but you can check with Dymocks, or any other book stores. I have this book, but it is in England, and therefore I am unable to give you specifics. Good Luck
