I lived in Hong Kong from 1966-1985 and I am now reseraching for a book to be called `The Mystery Animals of Hong Kong`. In fact I`ve collected a huge amount of material for about 15 years but I am still turning up "new" information,at least new to me. If any current Hong Kong ex-pat or former Hong Kong resident could let me know,via this Forum,any unusual stories,experiences,rumours or anecdotes,going as far back in time as can be remembered, I would be very grateful.No matter how improbable.I am particularly interested in fauna not usually thought to belong to Hong Kong.Thank you.

We know of no specific anecdotes on this, BUT I do know that there is a book on the flora and fauna of HK, I do not know the name, or author, but you can check with Dymocks, or any other book stores. I have this book, but it is in England, and therefore I am unable to give you specifics. Good Luck

Hello, I have a book by Phillipps and someone else,with colour ilustrations.This is the best book I know of on Hong Kong fauna and flora.
