OK, I thought there may be ready-made info on this in the forums already, but I couldn't find a very recent thread so will post a new one here .... leaving HK soon and have 2 boxes of good condition English language novels (mostly published in the last few years). May end up donating them to somewhere like The Book Attic in Central, but first just wanted to see if there are 2nd hand bookshops that buy books? I'd of course not expect much $$ through such a channel, but would be interested to know anyway.
Thanks in advance.

Try Flow bookshop on 7/F Hollywood House, 29 Hollywood Road, Central. 2694-9483. They buy secondhand books if you wish to sell them. If you wish to donate them, they will even come and collect them from you. The guy who runs the place is named Surdham Lam.

Donate them to Oxfam in Jardine House (basement). The money they raise from the sale will go to charity. If you donate them to a bookshop they will keep the profit (and bear in mind that even a hardback published in 2011, a bookshop will only pay you HK$10 - for an older paperback, its nil)
