I'm getting married at the Laguna chapel @ Phuket in July this year. And I'm desparately looking for advice from people who have or are going to get married at the same place.
I've joined their package and is dealing directly with their wedding chapel service team. And the package includes makeup and photograher services. But I want to to get more advice/ opinions on their makeup and photographer. The pictures on their website are of course very nice but I want to hear from people who have actually have their makeup done and photographs taken by the makeup artist and photographer provided by the laguna team.
Any advice would be really appreciated thanks a lot!

We have been to Laguna on holiday, saw two weddings, as we passed the wedding chapel which is very beautiful, the brides looked very pretty with their perfect make up on. The bride and groom went from the wedding chapel on a little romantic boat with a type of pergola and drapes, to wherever the reception was. So as a holiday maker and not a wedding guest what we saw looked really lovely.
Laguna is a lovely resort, and we dined at various places within it, all really good food.

I would recommend to bring your own makeup artist and nave at leastbone photographer to go together. Safer. After all, it's once in a life time. I heard about bad experience from my friends who had their destination wedding. I love my makeup artist and photographer who really understands my needs. I'm not sure who Laguna use for photos and makeup but, I'm sure you could consult with them before hand. I can't imagine them not being great as Laguna does so many weddings.
If you are looking for other options, I have used Lisa Allen in Phuket and she is great. http://www.makeupartistphuket.com/
I've also been at a couple functions where jessi cotterill has done the photography and have been really impressed with her work. She has a blog spot and Facebook page with photos posted.

I got married there in 2008. It is lovely, but look at your own options for make up and hair - tons in phuket I think.
