I have looked at the stores on Lockhart Road and have not been able to find a replacement vent hose for a portable air conditioner. The size is larger than a dryer. Does anybody know a store that carries the item?

However, if yu take the hose off, and take it by tram through the Western District, there are many small shops along the route selling spare parts/bits/pieces/pait/electrical parts, etc.etc. Look from the tram, and get off when you see a likely looking small store. they are very good, and the hose should not cost much.

Or, try asking Fortress in Central (they are most "savvy") who may direct you to a supplier.
There are a couple of hardware stores on Wellington St, passed the pedestrian walkway, before reaching the wet market. On the left. You can't miss them. They may have them.
