I, unintentionally, forgot my USB drive in the company secretary's computer when I printed my resignation letter when I resigned from the company.

Now the secretary still has that USB drive in her possession and they are using the information from USB drive to slander me. I tried calling the secretary but she has refused to talk to me so I relayed my intent to have my USB drive back through a former office mate but still no response.

Can I get the police involve in this matter and get possession of my USB drive? Or do I just barge in the office and confront her.
