Setting up Consulting Business - Sole Prop vs Comp?

Hi All

Seeking some advice please... as I have a few young kids, I'm not keen on returning to the crazy work hours of the HK corporate world so have decided to utilize my 15yrs of international experience to set up my own consultancy business.

Can anyone give some advice on whether its better to set up as a Sole Proprietor or Company? Would like to work 'reasonable hours' from home or 'in house' with client for short term if required, but no plans for rapid expansion or employing others (at this stage).

Therefore, any suggestions on which would be better and why and also the Tax benefits of each?

Thanking you in advance for any advice for pointing me to links to the info I need.
