I did not marry my ex (the relationship got bad too quickly) but we have a 2.5 year old. However, I am the father on the birth certificate (my child was born in Malaysia, we live in HK and I'm British). I pay the monthly allowance and school/kinder garden and other costs my ex wanted each month.
After the ex moved out 10 months ago, she usually allows me to see my child for a couple of hours one evening and half a day at the weekend.
The ex does not allow my daughter to stay over night or travel with me to visit my elderly parents who live abroad and can't travel here to HK for medical reasons.
My family and I dearly miss my child and are very frustrated/depressed at all the trivial or untrue exccuses my exc uses to prevent proper access etc.
Does anyone have advice on what my rights are?
Secondly, does anyone know a good child custody lawyer?
