Is running a B&B in HK feasible?

I have a rather large apartment on the South side with two empty double bedrooms. Empty nest. I do not want to give up the apartment but cannot realistically justify keeping all this empty space.


Many of my friends have complained over the years that they do not have enough room for parents, siblings or friends to visit. At that time my kids were living at home - now that I have the space do you think it would work to provide Bed & Breakfast?


Your advice/comments much appreciated.

You have to register gor a guest house license, if you rent a room for less than 28 days. Regulations about fire exits usually make it impractical unless you are on the ground floor. Hence the lack of B&b's.
