Travel to Combodia from Hong Kong

I plan to spend 9 nights for the trip with my family in December. I’ve found some flights from online travel agent to Phnom Penh but am not sure if they are reliable. I am desperately looking for some advices on how to plan the trip. I am interest in Angkor to take some magnificent photo of the temples and monuments, and heard Cambodia has nice beaches so would like to explore them towards the end of the trip. I am also thinking of the possibility to employ a local guided tour to the place. Any suggestions or experiences can give me on the flight/ guided tour/itinerary?

Many thanks.

Thanks mate. What travel agent/ airline do you usually used? I’m thinking to book through www.flightcentre.com.hk , seems they have a lowest airfare guarantee policy, have you tried book through them before?

just book online Dragonair, there are flights every day, some even 2 flights.

also check travel agencies, they could have interesting packages.

there are tour guides available for Angkor. book ahead, decemebr is a busy period, get a good guide, some are pretty lousy you couldn't even understand what they say. foe beach there's only Sihanoukville, Kep is lousy for beach.

The flights from HKG to PNH are reliable. But keep in mind Angkor is in Siem Reap. Last year I flew into PNH, bused about 5 hours to Siem Reap. Then took a taxi from Siem Reap to Bangkok about another 5-7 hrs.

If you want to fly into Siem Reap directly, going via a SE Asian city such as Singapore or Bangkok is probably your best bet, but will definitely cost more than flying to PNH and busing.
