Wondering how in the world (I should say, how in HK) signing a renewal contract negates unused annual leave for the respective year if from the start of the renewal date an employee does not work a minimum of three months.
It is not indicated in my contract, yet at the Labour Division meeting I had recently (at which my previous employer indicated that they do not have to pay me for physical days worked because I am under investigation for infringement of third party materials -- she apparently knows nothing about HK law) I was told I have no annual leave to be paid out, no pro-rata of my 13 month bonus, and no incentive bonus scheme pay out.
