Natural cream for mild eczema

ORIGINAL POST

Hi,

My daughter occasionally gets some mild eczema behind her ears, and sometimes itchy red spots 'down there', maybe due to nappy rash.

My doctor always tells me to use Dactakort cream.

However, given that its mild, I would prefer to try a non-steroid cream. My daughter is now over 2 years old.

Please can anyone make any suggestions of other safe creams I could try?

Thanks very much.

Try using Physiogel Cream, it's available from most pharmacies.

Hi, thanks for your suggestion. I thought that was just a moisturising cream? Anyway, I'll give it a try.

Try Aromababy Barrier Balm from Australia . It's all natural and contain certified organic ingredients. My son has been using this brand since birth and he never had any skin issue.

Hi I'm still in the US but the pediatrician here told me to put aquaphor. I'm not sure if they sell it there. Or a cream called cerave.

Aquaphor is not available over the counter. But i have heard ppl buy it off a doctor here. He must stock up and sell it to his patients. So stock up from the States!
