Very strong feelings amongst Thai people on either side of this controversy. My wife ( who is mixed Chinese/Thai ancestry) is bitterly opposed to Yingluck and her big brother, who is pulling the strings ( according to the royalists).

This is not simply "staff misconduct." The crew member threatened to hurt the passenger and yet she was allowed to continue to be on board. Can one imagine a passenger makes similar threats? It just shows for Cathay, there're double standards to say the least. The aviation authorities should investigate Cathay as the latter clearly has failed to protect passengers' safety.
And, displaying the passenger manifest on the web? Isn't that a criminal offence?
