Taxi on NYE??

I want to be sure to get a taxi on NYE and no taxi company will take by booking until the day which by then I know will be too late. I have the same issue most Friday and Saturday evenings.

I live on Stubbs Road and it is very hard to get a taxi from here - few buildings so few taxi's come past this way.

Does anyone know a friendly taxi driver who I could book in advance - I don't mind paying extra obviously.

Or have a driver they are not using for the evening who I could hire?

Any ideas gratefully received!!

good luck on NYE....taxi's literally rob ppl on the night... you shouldn't have too many issues going out that night.

coming back will be a nightmare... paying $100, $200 on top of flag fall fare is common...
