Disposing of a dead dog

My dog has just died. How do I dispose of the body? is there a proper procedure to follow rather than just put him in the garbage bin?

How very sad! I think you will find by law you can not just put your dog/cat etc body in the bin. In HK there is a fine of HK$25,000 and 6 months imprisonment for doing so. Contact either the vet/SPCA who will advise you what to do and can put you in touch with a company that will deal with it or contact the FEHD who will dispose of it for you.
