Dehumidifiers

Hey!


I've just moved to HK and have been advised to buy a dehumidifier. Can anyone offer advice on the cheapest/best place to buy one and any particular models?

Here's what NOT to buy. I bought an expensive one from wing on just 3 years ago to the date practically. It was over 3000 HKD Model Turbo LCD TDH-18. Company website www.kingpin.com.hk. We had it for the office so didn't use it very much & then have used it at home in the bedroom again not too frequently. Anyway the on/off button is now not working & the repair centre is in Tseun Wan so I have to take it there & pick it up & it will cost 280HKD. I still have have 2 very old delonghi (at least 15 years) and no problems at all with them but they are heavy & I live in a village house & they're a hassle to take up the stairs. needless to say I'm really disappointed about the quality of this turbo dehumidifier & wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Total waste of money
