San Fernando (Bauang) to HK flight?

Hi,

I am racing to San Fernando Philippines in late March on a yacht, and have to fly back to HK afterwards.

I am unable to find anyone, or any information on the Internet that tells me how to do this.

Some sites say that I can fly from San Fernando airport, but when I try to book there is no option to do so. Other sites tell me to fly from Clarke - but google maps shows that as almost 200 km drive away.

Can anyone shed some light on this please. Is doing my head in. If easier i am happy to fly from San Fernando (will be in Bauang area, to Manila and get a flight from there.

Thank you in advance.

Catch a Partas bus to Dau (near Angeles) for about 550 peso, then catch a cab about 600 peso to the airport. Or take the Partas bus for about 750 peso to Manila (Cubao) but it's further away from MNL airport, about 200 peso in taxi or go to Pasay which is closer to the airport and about 150 peso for a taxi.

the first deluxe buses are a little more expensive as the seats are bigger (only 3 across) If you get clod easy I would take a jacket as they normally run the A/C very cold.

To catch them all you need to do is stand on the hiway and flag one down and there will be a sign in the front window stating the destination. The conductors are all very nice and they all speak English. Just make sure you tell them Manila as you get on to make sure you end up on the right bus. There are some going to other locations

If there is a few of you you can get the Avis rent a car guy in Clark to come pick you up in a van for about 4500 peso and he will drop you at the airport. Message me and I can give you his email.

If it was me I would go the Angeles, party like a rock star and then fly home the next day.

Keep in mind the bus travel time to either place varies massively depending on the time of day. If you travel at night it is very quick (maybe 5 hours) to MNL. Last time I did the Ariana hotel in Bauang to MNL during the day it took me about 9 hours.

Good luck!
