Can anyone recommend a High Speed Internet service here in Hong Kong? Has anyone had a dedicated fibre optic line installed by PCCW - if so was it expensive and how effective was it?

Our present broadband service here in Kowloon is very erratic.

Thanks for this reply - did this 100mbps require any special dedicated fibre optic line or is it just coming via standard copper phone wire? I seem to remember being offered some unsolicited deal in the past from PCCW costing some thousands of dollars that involved installing fibre optic cable.

HarliQuin. Interested in your " masses of wifi channels" . Would you be so kind as to advise us - if we were to connect with PCCW just for the broadband service , what wifi alternatives are avaialable to the " bland" offering.

Would be very beneficial and timely
