face painter

Looking for face painter for my kids b'day party. I've seen some posts at 800-1000$ per hour but I'm looking something cheaper. Thanks!!!

Depends on how 'professional' you need this to be. Years ago, we had my (then 10 year old) daughter do face-painting at her brother's 2nd birthday party. She certainly wasn't a pro, but she did fine, the children were happy. Sans older child; nowadays, I would contact the nearest neighborhood teen or even the nearest high school/secondary school art department (or Colour-My-World or Arabella's - Art-House), explain what you need and see of they have a teen student who would do it for $2-300? $500? I've done this to hire a young 'inspirational;' guitar tutor for my son. You won't be able to contact the student directly, but In my case, the school, was happy to "go-between" and link us together.


For face painting at children's parties, IMHO, it's just not necessary to have a high-cost, professional and for that I doubt you will find anyone for less than $800 for a day.
