Hi,
I'm currently studying my CertTESOL and looking at emigrating to Hong Kong to become a NET. However, I was chatting to a Australian colleague recently who said that over there you can get residency by descendancy up to one generation removed.
Well, my grandmother was born in Hong Kong, making me a quarter Chinese. I wonder, does China/Hong Kong have the same rule? It's not going to change my approach, but it might make it a lot easier to get out there in the first instance.
