The paper feed on my Brother printer has broken. It is 6 years old is it worth trying to get fixed and does anyone know where would do it?

I once asked for printer repair cost at Canon and at Wanchai Computer centre. I forget how much they quoted but in the end I just found it more economical to buy a new inkjet for about hk$ 500. Probably not the answer you were looking for but that's all I got. ,
