Buying silver in HK...is it easy to take back to the U.S.?

I would like to start buying silver every month. I am also planning on moving back to the U.S. in about 4 years. Will it be easy to take back with me? I will probably have 400 ounces by that time. A carry-on in the airplane? What will security say? Customs?

I believe you need to declare anything worth over USD10,000 if you enter the US so I assume you can take it with you but will likely have to pay some sort of tax on the silver...

i do not understand, if you buy american eagle silver dollar, that is american money, why us charge you anything on that?
