Hi There

I am going to Koh Samui this weekend and staying at a hotel on Bo Phut beach

I was wondering where we should go in the evenings for dinner and also if there are any other activities that you would recommend we do or go and see?

Thanks so much

Don't do the western restaurants. I've heard loads of complains of ppl eating western food and the next day having had food poisoning or dicky tummies.

Go local and if you don't like spicy - don't be afraid to say NO SPICY. Thais do thai food well. The ingredients are fresh, clean and tasty! On the road parallel to Chaweng beach there's a place called Talung - that place has some great affordable thai grub.

In a place called Lamai, there's a lovely beach side restaurant called "The Beach" - the owner there speaks wonderful english. Can't remember her name but she went to school in England. And if you ever get the Samui Burn (burn your calf on the exhaust pipe) she has fresh aloe plants to soothe the burn.
